I get seasick, is SCUBA diving right for me?
In class, you will learn about some techniques and procedures that might help you prevent seasickness. If a problem with motion sickness is a constant, there are many ways to dive that do not include a boat ride. Quarries and lakes are fantastic places to dive. Just get up off the picnic blanket and walk into a big body of fresh water to enjoy the weightlessness and adventure of SCUBA diving. Beach diving here in the North East, and at thousands of destinations worldwide, can offer great opportunities to see many things that all divers get to see. Shipwrecks, coral reefs, more fish that you can count in more colors than you can imagine, lay right at the water’s edge for you to explore. Don’t let a fear of being seasick keep you from seeing what the life under the waves has to offer.
